There is also our Games Room, with toys, games. Xbox consoles and big-screen TV, the perfect kids’ hideaway and place to make new friends. As well, Pedal Karts are available for hire – an oldie but goodie favourite!
Our new Sensory Garden offers a beautiful space for young and old alike, where children can connect directly with the sights, sounds and smells of nature and enjoy quiet time out.
For extra holiday fun, don’t forget Castlemaine’s 23-hectare Botanical Gardens and Nature Reserve are right next door. It features a fantastic award-winning play space that offers hours of family fun. Designed to reflect a gold-mining theme, in keeping with Castlemaine’s history, there are slides, a Flying Fox, swings, a toddlers’ playground, a play train, cubby hut and beautiful sculpture works, as well as a large covered picnic and barbecue area. There are also great tracks for cycling around the gardens and through the Nature Reserve.
